The closest thing we have to a traditional peanut brittle. Anette's (from Napa Valley) makes terrific brittles. They're light and crispy and never sticky. This variety of their peanut brittle gets its sweetness from vanilla and a hint of chardonnay that subtly adds to the complexity.

Note: Wine is an ingredient used in the cooking of the brittle, but the final product has 0% alcohol content.
